The National Residence Hall Honorary is the only nationwide organization that exclusively recognizes leaders in the residence halls; it is also considered the recognition branch of the National Association of College and University Residence Halls (NACURH), Inc. Through ‘Of the Month’ awards, known best as OTMs, NRHH provides local, regional and national recognition to students making outstanding contributions on Appalachian State University’s campus and within the residence halls. Appalachian State University’s NRHH chapter firmly believes in the value of student involvement in residence hall life through community service, community building, advocacy and educational programming.

The mission of the National Residence Hall Honorary shall be to provide recognition for those students who have exhibited outstanding leadership and service to the residence hall system of Appalachian State University and to promote activities that encourage and develop leadership qualities as well as community service in residence hall students.
